Its goal is to identify and support key innovators in the startup and scaling phases to implement solutions that promote sustainability by reducing the environmental impact of crop protection, reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the field, and empowering smallholder farmers to access sustainable agricultural solutions. The THRIVE | Bayer Sustainability Challenge combines Bayer Crop Sciences’ sustainability commitments with the THRIVE Global Initiative’s focus on the UN Sustainable Development Goals to promote innovations that can address urgent challenges in the global agri-food chain.
